Grandpa, itâ??s been over a year since you passed away and I just wanted you to know that I miss you. I have many fond memories of visiting you and Grandma in the So. San Fransicso House as I was growing up. When I think back on those days I picture you walking through your garden in the backyard and tending to it or you sitting in your chair watching wheel of fortune with your bowl of mixed nuts and your nut cracker. I also loved it when you and Grandma would cook together in the kitchen. You two would squabble like no other, but we all knew you loved each other deeply and I remember seeing you kiss Grandma mostly in the kitchen, too. Iâ??m so thankful both of you were able to be at my wedding and also meet all of my children. I really think you and Zack would enjoy each other so much. If he could, he would just sit with you and want to ask you questions about the old army days and listen to all of your stories. Although, I wish I would have asked you more questions and been able to spend more time with you and Grandma, I am thankful for the memories I do have of you.I love you,Melissa Joy

I said to Al what I needed to say directly to him when he was alive. He was an amazing man for so many reasons. I feel Blessed to have had him in my life all those years. We laughed, we cried, we loved and we lived. Godspeed Dad! Give Mary a hug from all of us. Thank you for letting me be in your life. Thank you for Gina and the Legacy that continues…because of you. You will always have my love and respect, you earned it. See you on the other side.- Scott

Al was a pretty good guy. Dedicated husband and Father. Sincere and loving caregiver, host, and all around gentleman. Just by coincidence, during the week before his passing, I was thinking about him and how he was doing. Very sorry to hear of his passing and my sincere condolences to Albert Jr. Ellen, and Gina. I cannot remember the number of times he and the family paid visits to us in Freeland, Pa, but each time I always looked forward to their coming. Most times they were already at the house before I got there. Sometimes not. The town of Freeland has only one traffic light. After driving three days, which Al said he loved doing coming all the way from Calif., I was walking across the street at that traffic light and they just pulled up to it at that time. There are many stories to tell, but all would do nothing less that have praise for Mr. Albert M. Cerone.Edward Bereznak
