I miss your dumb jokes that made me groan and roll my eyes and sharing memories of our childhood with you affirming or augmenting my memories. Calling you and asking "do you remember when..." always led us to additional memories and laughter. We've both been mourning the loss of Lynna in 2020 and now I'm left grieving for the loss of you both. It's not supposed to end like this since I'm the eldest. Love and miss you so much.

I loved my cousin Alan. He helped me muster the courage to talk back when my dad was being neglected in a “rehab facility” after breaking his hip, and to declare I was taking him home regardless of what they said. He visited my daddy regularly until COVID hit, and we all had to stay at home. He and my dad always shared big laughs, they both had a great sense of humor, now they are both gone. I miss my dad, and I’ll miss Alan.
Now I know why you always told me to be strong. You knew one day I would need the strength to bear your loss. You will always ride by my side. Love you Daddy,
