Ailsa Contreras Santos passed away on May 29, 2026, in Sacramento, California. Born on November 7, 1978, in Redwood City, California, Ailsa lived a life marked by resilience, kindness, and a deep love for her family. She attended Grant Union High School, graduating with the Class of 1996, and continued her education at American River College. Throughout her working years, Ailsa was employed by Burger King, Del Taco and Walmart, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Ailsa found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved taking walks and was an avid collector of Disney VHS movies, building an impressive collection that brought her much happiness over the years. Her Catholic faith remained an important part of her life and provided her with strength and comfort. Ailsa was preceded in death by her father, Servando Santos. She is survived by her loving mother, Maria Santos; her sister, Johanna Barrera; her brother-in-law, Carlos Barrera; her nieces and nephews, Isabella Barrera, Carlos Barrera Jr., Karla Barrera, Celsa Barrera, and Isaias Barrera; and her grandnieces, Mia Figueroa and Melody Figueroa. Ailsa will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of family, and the memories she created with those who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
