Robert L Mosher's Obituary
Robert Lloyd Mosher entered into rest November 26, 2013 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 87. He was born May 11, 1926 a native of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is survived by his son Robert L. Mosher Jr., Daughter in Law Lynn Mosher, Daughters Karen Mosher, Jennifer L. Daniels, and Susan Anderson. He is also survived by grandchildren Mary, Sandra, Jessica, Lauren, Erica, Kyle and Brent, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, their families, and cats and dogs. Preceded in death by his wife of 27 years Joan E. Mosher, sister Helen Mosher, father Miles Mosher, mother Eva Perry. He was a member of The Church of Latter Day Saints. He served in the Navy, WW II, Korea, and Hiro Jima. He also attended American River College and Cal State University. He worked at McClellan AFB for 33 years, retired from management. He also worked for Cable Data for 10 years and then worked various jobs until he finally retired at the age of 70. He then continued to serve his community by volunteering at the Blood Source and his church. He loved spending time with his family, especially dining out. His other favorite activities were bicycling, long distance and local. He rode the American River bike trail several times a week up until the age of 85. He enjoyed vegetable gardening in the summer and always shared his crop with family and friends. He also loved reading. He read the Lord of the Rings Trilogy every year along with many other books. He will be missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 12noon. Services will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 1:00PM, at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 761 Rio Tierra Ave, Sacramento, CA 95834.
