Randy was passionate about his Christian faith, singing in church, telling jokes, bringing a smile to everyone around him. He loved his cats- he was the "Cat Whisperer". He enjoyed celebrating holidays with his whole family, cooking meals for everyone on his Blackstone grill. He enjoyed traveling, whether cruising on the seas, or driving around in his motorhome! He was an expert pilot on his flight simulator. He just wanted everyone, especially his wife, to be happy and smile!
Randy was a PROUD man- he served his country in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was Republican- heart and soul! He enjoyed "Cowboy Church" and being silly- riding a stick horse up onto the stage! He owned and operated a successful tree and landscape company for over 40 years, successfully passing the family business onto his son. Randy and Sharon also owned "Jake's Chuck Wagon"- where he made many friends and was quite the social butterfly! His heart was committed to his wife, his family, and he simply made the world a better place for everyone who was blessed to know him! We know that he is in Heaven, celebrating his life, hanging out with his grandson and family and friends that have gone on before him! "Honey, Dad, Pop, Uncle... Rejoice in Heaven and we will see you again, one day!"
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at 1:00 PM for a committal service and military honors. Service will be held at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park, 4701 Marysville Boulevard, Sacramento.
