Lit a candle in memory of Helen Ivie
Helen was such a lovely and beautiful lady. She and my dad, John W. (Bill) Everhart were first cousins. They were born just a few months apart and raised more like brother and sister. He loved telling stories of early years and their mischievous behavior and how their Grandma Foley always said they'd end up in prison. Dad visited Helen and Corkie in California and they did make it to prison. Thankfully, it was only for a photo op at Alcatraz! My thoughts and prayers for Helen's remaining family and friends. May she rest in peace with her loving family who have gone before her. I'm confident they were all there to greet her and welcome her to her final resting place.
