Carol was my neighbor and my friend. We met one fall day in 2015, both of us were on our way to work. We just happen to share a car accident together and ever since that day we were friends. I always admired her strength, her compassion, kindness, and her committment to her job and the Gym. She was the definition of being fit, healthy and full of life. I would always tell her with admiration, “I don’t know how you do it dude.” she would just say, “Bruh! You can do it too, you just gotta go do it man!”. She was always so inspiring and spritual. She used to say, “So happy I hit your bumper dude..” and I would say, “I’m glad my neighbor ran into me!” It was our running joke and we were good buds like that. Ever since the car accident we were both happy to have a friend so close. I would kitty sit Mr. Maurice and she would take care of my little doggy Georgia when either of us where out of town. It was very comforting to have a friend right next door that you could always trust. Last year I went through a rough patch in my life. Carol was there to check in on me and always had postive words of wisdom, I never forget her friendship and support. She was such a great listener. I knew if I needed help she would be there without a second thought, all I had to do was call. She was selfless, kind and giving person while so independently strong.I’ll miss the morning text messages wishing me a good day at work, when I would leave in the AM Carol could hear my car start from her living room. It was just her way to say Hi and it was always apprieciated. She is loved by so many and rightly so. I will miss her, we all will miss her but her memory will always be cherished.
