Norman Engman, died in Sacramento, California on December 9, 2016. He was 91 years old.
Norman was born in Petaluma, CA on December 3, 1925 and he lived in Sacramento for more than 60 years. He met his beloved wife, Violet Engman, in Spokane, Washington in 1943 where they were introduced by a friend. Norman was married to Violet for 64 years until her passing. To provide a better life for his family, Norman moved to Sacramento and began working for Hyster Forklifts where he retired after 39 years of loyal service. Norman was an expert Mechanic for cars and forklifts. He had a reputation of being able to fix any vehicle problems.
Norman is survived by his two daughters; Shirley Baisden, Roseville, CA and Cheryl Kell, Illinois, his son Larry Engman passed in April 2016. Norman is survived by two brothers; Gordon Engman, Ukiah Ca and Calvin Engman of Medford ,Oregon and his two sisters; Deborah Hamon, Lincoln, CA an Alohna Sharon Hersey, Virginia and five grandchildren, Tammy Toderean, Ty Baisden, Bryan Baisden, Christy Smail, Kenneth Smail, and five great grandchildren; Tiffany Lupsa, Megan Toderean, Brittney Baisden, Brody Baisden and Brandon Baisden.
Norman was a man of great Christian faith and he was a great influence to all of his surviving family members. Norman Engman will be missed by his family but his family is comforted knowing that Norman will have a special place in Heaven with his wife, Violet.
