Entered into rest, Thursday, February 12, 2015 in Orangevale at the age of 84. She was a beloved wife to the late Gilbert Mashburn for 57 years. Devoted mother of Donald (Ronee) Mashburn, Dottie (John) Breckenridge, the late Danny Mashburn, and Debbie (Chuck) Brannam. Adored by her grandchildren Dawn(Mike) Riley, John Breckenridge, the late Candy Mashburn, Mike (Kameron) Breckenridge, Kristopher (Shannon) Mashburn, Ricky (Jonelle) Mashburn, and Rachel (Ryan) Kaufman. Grandma Lou-Lou to her 14 Great Grandchildren Chloe Breckenridge, Courtney Riley, Anna Breckenridge, Kenyon Mashburn, Kade Breckenridge, Kaitlyn Riley, Gavin Breckenridge, Kira Mashburn, Savanna Kaufman, Kalista Mashburn, Rocco Kaufman, Chase Mashburn, Brixton Kaufman and Brooke Mashburn . She is also survived her in-laws Junior Kinser, Donald (Betty) Mashburn , Freda Mashburn, Carol Fuhrman, Wilbur Roper, and Betty Fuhrman, many cousins, nieces and nephews that adored her.
She was a native of Boonville, Missouri born December 26, 1930 to the late Everett & Lucille Fuhrman she had 3 sisters Lelia Fuhrman, Joann Fuhrman, Rheta Roper and 6 brothers Henry Fuhrman, Jesse Fuhrman, James Fuhrman, Everett Jr. Fuhrman, Cecil Fuhrman, Kenneth Fuhrman that preceded her in death and 1 surviving sister Alice (Richard) Dickinson.
Mary-Lou was a resident of Sacramento County for over 75 years. She lived a life full of love for her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, playing whoopie, card games and attending her families sporting events. She will always be remembered for her strong faith, and always put her family before herself. She blessed so many with her love, beautiful smile and fun loving sense of humor.
The family invites you to attend a visitation 4-8pm on Thursday, February 19th at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. in Sacramento. Also a funeral service 11am Church of Christ 1799 Cirby Way, Roseville. Interment will follow at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park. Her pallbearers are her grandsons, John, Mike, Kristopher, Ricky, Mike and Ryan.
In lieu of flowers a donation basket will be available at the reception to benefit the employees of Eskaton Fountainwood Lodge- Employee Fund who cared and loved for our mother over the past 3 years. There are no words to properly thank the staff of Eskaton Fountainwood Lodge Assisted Living for their excellent care and respect for our mother who they referred to as their mother.
