SMITH, Linda November 24, 1967 – June 8, 2015. Our beautiful mother, wife, sister and friend was born in Sacramento, California on November 24, 1967. Linda was a phenomenal woman filled with love. She enjoyed yard sales, family gatherings and Karaoke. She especially enjoyed and loved all children and the elderly. She leaves to cherish her memory: Floyd Ransom, Jr.; five daughters, Portia Mundy (Sowande Wiley), Monay and Asia Smith, Lavina Ransom and Loretta Ransom-Denering (Dave) of Los Angeles, California; two sons, Brandon Smith, and Floyd Ransom, III; two foster children, Manuel and Isaiah Davis; eleven grandchildren, Aalaya Jackson, Mariah Smith, Amiyah and Saniah Wiley, Brandon Smith, Jr., Christopher, Keyoni, Keyoke, and Kalani Ransom, and Jabari and Kamani Wiley; six sisters, Delores Johnson (Anthony Jones), Rose Clemon, Sharon Hally (Frankie), Corrine Gray (Glen) and Brenda Smith (Stanley Wright) of Sacramento, CA and Lori Crawford (James) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; four brothers, David Smith (Sandra) of Jackson Michigan, Johnnie Boyd and Don Clemon of Sacramento, CA, and Larry Clemon of Mobile, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. All are welcome to attend visitation on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and services on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95838, (916) 922-5833. Repast will be held following the services at Robertson Community Center, 3525 Norwood Ave., Sacramento, CA 95838.

  1. Linda was one of the nicest persons you would want to meet. It was an honor to work work with her, her beautiful smile was always on her face. She will be missed so much. My prayers go out to her family. May the Lord bring you peace.
