David Benjamin Lindsey, Jr.
Birth Date: October 16, 1974
Death Date: March 2, 2016
David Benjamin Lindsey, Jr., was born on October 16, 1974, in Roseville, CA, to David and Sandy Lindsey. He grew up in Sacramento where he attended school, graduating from Rio Linda High School in 1992. After graduating, he moved to Pheonix, AZ, where he attended UTI and earned an AA in HVAC/Refrigeration. He moved back to Sacramento following graduation from UTI to work at Metro Sheet Metal Heating and Air Conditioning. He later worked for Lindsey Property Rentals, a family business, where he worked alongside and became very close with several of his cousins over the years, mentoring and patiently teaching the younger ones.
David loved life and was a big kid at heart. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and makes others laugh, especially by doing one of his many impressions or impersonations. He enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows with his friends. He also loved playing video games and taking pictures, just not with people in them. He took incredible pictures of scenery. Trips to Apple Hill and Bass Pro Shops topped his list of favorite day trips. He loved family vacations as well as Sunday dinners with his mom’s family and big family dinners with his dad’s family. Wing Stop was his favorite place to get garlic parmesan wings, although his own smoked meats would give them a run for their money! David also loved to go watch the trains with his best friend Dan Beam, whom he met freshman year in high school and remained friends with ever since.
David had a big heart and loved his animals and often took in strays, even those with health issues; a one eyed fish, a puppy with cherry eye ( Mick who still lives with his mom), and orphaned kittens.
Although he didnt attend the weekly meetings, he did attend the yearly Memorial Commemoration of Christ’s death and listented to his mother, aunt, and grandparents when they talked to him about Jehovah God. He talked about having lots of animals in the New System.
He was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in 2013; shorty thereafter he moved back home with his mother to help out around the house and so that she could help with his medical management.
David entered into rest on March, 02, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father David Benjamin Lindsey, Sr. He is survived by his mother Sandy Lindsey, his grandfather Tom Lindsey, both of Sacramento, 8 aunts, 4 uncles, and numerous cousins.
He was loved by many and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. His passing leaves a deep hole in the hearts of all his family and friends.
